Vidiicast

Video quality, extra cameras and studio audio

Choose 720p, 1080p or 4K, add up to three cameras, and get a separate WAV of every mic.

Video quality

Set it per show on the Shows page under Recording quality: 720p, 1080p or 4K (4K is on the Studio plan). Each camera records at that quality, or the best it can do if it’s lower. The join screen tells each person what their camera can record. The live call stays at 720p so it runs smoothly. It doesn’t affect the recording.

More than one camera

On the join screen, press Add another camera and pick it. You can use up to three. Each camera is saved as its own file. Others on the call see your first camera.

Studio audio

With Studio audio on (the default), each mic is recorded raw, with no echo cancellation or noise suppression, and each person also gets an uncompressed WAV at 48 kHz, 24-bit, in stereo if their mic or interface sends two channels. Everyone should wear headphones. Anyone without them can tick Echo cancellation on the join screen.
