Vidiicast

Vidiicast for remote interviews

Remote interviews that start on time and stay on track.

Send each guest their own link, keep strangers out, and steer the conversation without a word reaching anyone’s mic.

A personal link for every guest.

Add a guest’s name, email and the session time, and Vidiicast emails them their own link. It opens an hour before you start and only works for them. They don’t need an account, an app or a password.

  • The time is written in your time zone
  • Links last from 6 hours to 30 days
  • Email it again or cancel it any time

You decide who gets in.

Keep the show’s general link closed so only personal invites work, or let people knock and admit them yourself. Once everyone’s in, lock the studio. If someone shouldn’t be there, remove them and their link stops working.

  • A waiting room, if you want one
  • One person per invite
  • Lock the studio with one switch

Keep it on time without interrupting.

Write your run sheet before the interview and the cues pop up as you go. Send a silent nudge like “2 minutes left” to your co-host, or have a producer run the whole thing off camera.

  • Timed cues, for hosts only or everyone
  • Quick nudges or your own words
  • Producers aren’t on camera or recorded

After the interview

  • A searchable transcriptFind the quote you need and click to hear it.
  • Every voice on its own fileSo the guest’s answer is clean, even when you talked over them.
  • A summary and chaptersA quick record of what was covered.
  • MarkersMoments you flagged live, ready for your editor.

Interview questions

My guest says their link doesn’t work. What do I do?
Open the show’s Guest invites page. If the invite has expired, make a new one. If it’s still open, check the session time: links open an hour before. You can also email it again from there. More on invites.
What should I send guests before the interview?
The invite email covers it, but our guide for guests walks them through browsers, headphones and checking their camera and mic.
Can a producer listen in without being recorded?
Yes. Anyone on your team can tick Join as producer on the join screen. They see and hear everyone, chat, nudge and start the recording, but they have no camera or mic and aren’t recorded.
Do guests have to agree to be recorded?
The join screen tells every guest the session is recorded before they join. You’re still responsible for telling them what the recording is for and getting their permission to publish it. See our Terms of Service.
