Transcripts and AI notes

How transcripts, summaries, chapters, show notes and clip ideas are made, and how to use them.

When everyone’s files have uploaded, Vidiicast transcribes each person’s audio separately, then writes notes from the transcript. It usually takes a few minutes. The page updates on its own.

Transcript

On the recording page, the Transcript tab shows every line with who said it and when. Search it with the box above, and click any line to jump the playback there. Download it from Download as text or as subtitles.

AI notes

The AI notes tab has:

• Summary: two or three sentences about the episode.
• Chapters: timestamps where the topic changes, ready to paste into YouTube or your podcast app.
• Show notes: a short description for your podcast app.
• Clip ideas: up to five moments for social posts, with start and end times.

The notes are a starting point. They can get names or details wrong, so read them before you publish.

Making them again

If a transcript didn’t appear, or you want fresh notes, press Transcribe (or Process again) on the recording page.

Language

Transcripts work best in English.
