Storage and removing files from the cloud

See how much space you’re using, and have files removed automatically once you’ve downloaded them.

Video and audio files count towards your plan’s storage. Transcripts and notes don’t. You can see how much you’re using in the sidebar and in Settings.

Remove files automatically

In Settings, under Storage, set Remove files from the cloud to 7, 14, 30, 60 or 90 days after recording, or Never. Files are removed overnight once they reach that age. The transcript, notes and markers stay.

Only owners and producers can change this, and it applies to the whole workspace. Recordings that are about to be removed show on your dashboard first.

Remove files from one recording

Open the recording, press the More button, and choose Remove files from cloud. This deletes the video and audio for good. Download anything you need first.

Delete a recording completely

Choose Delete recording from the same menu. This deletes the files, transcript, notes and markers.
